A 8-day clockwork describes a clock with a fully mechanical movement driven by bigger weights and a running time of around one week. So these weights have to be wound up once a week. Every half an hour the cuckoo calls once and every full hour it calls the time (number of hours). The clockwork is made in the Black Forest aswell.
